Geographe Psychology Service has been serving the southwest since 2005 with a solid reputation for effective assessment, diagnosis, and treatment in clinical psychology. Graduating with a Master’s degree in Psychology (Clinical and Health) Laurie Haynes has the training and experience to address complex mental health disorders as well as chronic health illnesses requiring psychological input.
Laurie is a founding member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA) which promotes ongoing professional development and maintains the highest standards in the field. He is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsed in clinical psychology by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA). Laurie is also a Board-approved supervisor for clinical psychology registrars and provisional psychologists.
The aim of psychological counselling is to assist in the resolution of personal issues and difficulties by exploring and understanding their nature and impact, and then developing appropriate skills and coping strategies. Laurie is a warm and competent clinician who uses evidence-base interventions. “I work closely with my clients to bring about a sense of stability, and make reliable improvement in their lives. My goal is to guide clients on a journey of self-discovery while learning how to take effective action”.
